Especially in the current political climate and ever-changing policies, seeking legal services is even more relevant. Rutgers Student Legal Services offers legal assistance to students in need and it is completely free.
Located in Tillett Hall on the Livingston campus, Rutgers Student Legal Services provides free attorney consultations. All attorneys are licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey. Concerns regarding arrests, traffic violations, domestic violence, tenant issues, and immigration matters are covered by the attorneys. Additional services provided to you include notary services, external attorney referrals, and pre-law advisement. Additional information on each of these services can be found on their website.
Rutgers Student Legal Services
Student organizations can request seminars or workshops covering risk management, conflict management, hazing/bullying, social host liability, sexual assault, and quadruple jeopardy for their members.
