A Warm Welcome for International Students
Stepping off a plane into a new country can be overwhelming, but Rutgers Global Services has the support you need. They help incoming students sort out everything from visa paperwork and housing questions to support making cultural adjustments. From the moment you’re admitted, RGS offers you resources to guide you through the pre-arrival planning process, document processing, setting up your NetID, and course registration. Once you’re on campus, they continue to support you through orientation events, immigration advisement, and community programs to make it easier for you to build your home away from home!
Dream of Studying Abroad?
Ever dream of traveling abroad during your time at college? Through the Center for Global Education, you can explore more than 100 study abroad programs across 50+ countries. They offer semester exchanges, summer research programs, and winter/spring break excursions. Participating in these experiences can also give you credit towards your academic journey and keep you on track for graduation! They can help you find scholarships and work through logistics to make sure you’re ready to thrive wherever you go. Bon voyage!
Events, Culture, and Community Events
What makes Rutgers Global really special isn’t just their help with paperwork; it’s also the community that they build. They offer events to celebrate Diwali and Lunar New Year as well as professional development support including career panels and intercultural coffee hours.
